Roodlea Barn
Luanna & Graeme got married! This colourful, happy barn wedding took place at Roodlea Barn in Ayrshire. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout this day like drum music confetti cones (Graeme is a drummer!). Wilbur their dog had his own welcome sign and Graeme’s bowtie was made from off-cuts from Luanna’s dress.

Wedding Morning at Roodlea Barn
Luanna & Graeme both got ready at Roodlea Barn. Graeme looked very dapper in his Rathbones Tailor tartan trews and his lace bowtie made by Luanna herself! Luanna looked incredible in her Mirka Bridal Couture fitted lace dress and brightly coloured flower crown. The flowers by Fleur and Blume were so colourful & happy and complimented this summer wedding perfectly.
Wedding Ceremony & Drinks Reception Fun
This ceremony! It was emotional, it was funny and it was just downright joyful! The celebrant was George Smith and the ceremony was really personable. Afterwards everyone headed out to the decking for a confetti gauntlet. The confetti cones were made from Graeme’s favourite drum parts and projected the confetti beautifully! The wedding guests were then able to enjoy the drinks reception outside in the glorious sunshine.
Couple Portraits Outside Roodlea Barn & Speeches
Luanna & Graeme then headed outside Roodlea Barn to the country lane for some photographs just the two of them. This was a wonderful chance for them to bask in newly wed joy and for me to capture all their happiness. My couple sessions are so relaxed and with only the gentlest of prompts for you to make the most of your photographs. After the drinks reception it was time for the speeches! Graeme, his brother and Luanna’s sister spoke and all three of them had the guests in stitches!
Golden Light Couple Portraits & Dancing
After dinner I invited Luanna & Graeme out to the golf course. The golden hour light was incredible and I feel like they glow in it! It’s also a great opportunity to chill out and to take it all in before the party started! Speaking of partying …their musician Chris Small & band knew just what to play for a full dance floor!! It was a really fun night! Thank you for having me with you at your colourful, happy barn wedding
