Hello! Thank you for making you way to my little pocket of the internet. I'm Suzanne and I love what I do! Previously named Kalisterscope Photography I have captured weddings since 2017. The move to change the business's name to my own at the start of 2025 is exciting and one I am proud to do. I think this is the best job in the world and I firmly believe that getting to capture your story is a complete privilege!

SOME THINGS ABOUT ME
I am Scottish and live in the North of Glasgow.
Campervan holidays, being by the water & hillclimbing are some of my favourite things to do.
On my wedding day we had two cakes because nobody should be forced to choose between cake or cheese!
I love; Autumn, sunshine, taylor swift / zach bryan / counting crows, beautiful ceramics, dried flowers, being on time, wedding venue selfies & flat whites with a cannolli!

If you don't like your photograph being taken please don't worry - I get it, I am much happier behind the lens! I will take things slow, talk you through how I work and I have some fun tricks up my sleeve to put you at ease!
BACKGROUND
Previously, I trained and worked as an Architect. I feel this background brings a unique view point to how I see spaces and capture movement through places. I love working with the built environment or landscape to use them as a backdrop for framing or to create a unique composition.

HAPPINESS
On your wedding day I have a relaxed, non-intrusive style - I like to have a watchful eye and capture all the teary eyes & squeezy happy hugs as they happen. However, I understand there are times where I need to orchestrate things in order for you to get the most from your photographs - where confetti gauntlets need to be organised, family portraits arranged or a gentle steer during your couple photographs. I do these in a respectful way and make sure your day is all about YOU and this is at the forefront of how I work.

QUESTIONS
Booking your wedding photography is a huge investment and it can be stressful not knowing what is involved and I'm sure you have lots of questions! Below are some of the most frequent ones I get asked.
How long is your full day photography coverage?
I'm with you from Morning Preparations until into the dancing at night but if you don't want me that long I also offer an hourly rate package. If you would like to know more about what moments are captured with me as your wedding photographer please have a look at the following page - experience.
when do we get to see our final gallery?
I send you out previews photographs a couple of days after your wedding and aim to get your full gallery out to you within 6 weeks.
should we have a second shooter?
Definitely if you want to. If you aren't sure then I can discuss with your the what your needs are for your day and what can be covered by moi!
prints & albums?

what do we do if it rains?!
Aahhh the big question! If you want to go out then we've got this! We can grab some umbrellas or head for a sheltered spot - I won't let you get too wet and we'll get some beautiful atmospheric photographs! If you'd prefer to stay in that's great too - we'll find a lovely space indoors with some natural light.

K&D and a wee water adventure 💦
These two legends (& their son!) decided Loch Venachar wasn’t just to be looked at but to be in! The boys packed their swimming shorts but K wasn’t going to let the lack of swimwear stop her from joining in the fun. See how it started vs how it ended ➡️➡️➡️. A first for me but I hope to see this level of laughter again!

✨Suzanne’s photos speak for themselves - she is an amazing photographer, and we couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. She will beautifully capture whatever is before her! What you don’t see from Suzanne’s photos, however, is also the wonderful person behind the lens taking your pictures.
We felt so comfortable having Suzanne there to capture the most important moments of our wedding day. We first had a couples shoot with her, and she made us feel at ease immediately - we had a lot of fun! On our wedding day itself, the time spent just the two of us was scarce and most of it was in front of Suzanne’s camera. This time ended up being some of our most cherished from our wedding day, and we are SO thankful to Suzanne for facilitating and capturing those moments. Suzanne also playing one of our favourite songs during our golden hour shoot to keep the energy high was a lovely and personable touch :-) Elsewhere, Suzanne observed without imposing, and when needed took charge of our many (sorry, Suzanne!) group photos. She really did bring it all!
