Cairns Farm Estate
This Stylish Autumnal barn wedding took place at Cairns Farm Estate . There were capes, pumpkins, velvet shoes, a corvette and a ukulele playing guest! Also; rock, paper, scissors during Sally’s speech annnnnnddddd the best man had everyone in stitches with two truths and a lie (spoiler: they were ALL truths)! We said no to soft smiles and went for big, full of happiness face splitting grins!

Wedding Morning at Cairns Farm Estate
Sally & Grant both got ready at Cairns Farm Estate so I was able to capture both side of their morning. Grant looked very dapper in his kilt from McCalls Highlandwear. Sally’s dress from Bliss Studio was so elegant but it was her incredible cape from Catherine Deane that I fell in love with! Her shoes from Esska which was perfect colour to match their Autumnal theme. Briar Rose Design did an absolutely magical job with the flowers. Sally’s bouquet was beautiful and complimented her outfit perfectly.
Wedding Ceremony & Beautiful Autumnal Decor
I love the ceremony space at Cairns Farm Estate normally but after Briar Rose Design decorated it I loved it even more! The pumpkins and the colours of the flowers were just so quintessentially Autumnal! Gillian Varu conducted a beautifully personable ceremony. I really liked how she gave the guests an opportunity to photograph the couple at the top of the aisle before it started. This meant the guests could get the photo but then put their phones away and be present during the ceremony. A lovely touch!
Confetti Gauntlets & Drinks Reception Fun
Sally & Grant had a brilliant confetti gauntlet with lots of confetti!! So much confetti! Afterwards, they moved inside and enjoyed the talented Alicia Ryan on her ukulele as they greeted their guests. Their group photographs were captured beside the outside space so they could be present and around guests whilst these were taking place.
Couple Portraits at Cairns Farm Estate
We then went for some couple portraits; starting with Grant’s beautiful corvette. These were so fun to do! Before heading to the loch for some more. These two were so relaxed and happy that just letting them be together with the most minor of prompts resulted in such naturally joyful photographs!
Wedding Speeches & Ceilidh Dancing
After 4 excellent speeches their cake (which I had the pleasure of helping Grant decorate!) was cut with a sword! The Jets were brilliant and had everyone up dancing! The dance moves were brilliant and then everyone got stuck into the ceilidh! Thanks so much for having me at your beautiful, stylish autumnal barn wedding!
