Hemmings Family . 1st Birthday Celebration . July 2021

I photographed Beatrix when she was just a wee newborn and I was delighted to be asked back to photograph her first birthday! The family celebrated in a park with her Grandparents and Auntie & Uncle & cousin! It was wonderful to capture all the individual families and also photograph them all together! It was really fun to photograph the cousins interacting with each other too! When there are multiple families I  suggest booking a Full Family Session rather than a ‘mini’ so that each family can have their own photographs together as well as the larger group! These guys got lots of updated family portraits as well as some natural ones of the family & kids celebrating together! My family sessions always have this balance of organised portraits and much more informal, natural shots so that you get a lovely mix in your gallery!

Jack & Hannah had an unforgettable day filled with laughter, love and a whole lot of honking 🪿🪿 (you’ll have to trust me when I say it’s a lovely story!). Set against the timeless beauty of the epic Hopetoun House, this wedding was a beautiful mix of elegance and heart. Great to be working along side Scott (@mackenzieweddingfilms)
again and have the excellent Lindsey (@mack_photo) with me to second shoot. A truly excellent day and a pleasure to capture!

We also just wanted to say a huge, huge thank you for all your hard work on Saturday. We have loved having you as our photographer, and both agreed that our favourite moments on the day were the ceremony itself and the moments just the two of us whilst we had photos/videos taken with you and Scott. It was so fun all the way through our photos with you, and playing Such Great Heights as we took the golden hour shots was a lovely touch!
